Nealon Insulation Reviews

Out 1957 home had minimal insulation in the attic. Over the years some had been added but there were many gaps which made for uneven temperatures throughout the house. Dave and his crew removed the old inefficient patchwork of insulation. They then added channels around the rafters to promote air-flow. Finally they added blown in insulation to achieve R49 or better. The insulation is already making a difference in even temperatures all through the house. Dave and his team were punctual, professional and unobtrusive. The office was very communicative keeping us aware of all phases of the work. We highly recommend Dave and his company.

We had a great experience with Nealon. They were, by far, the best company who gave a quote. Really knew what they were talking about and took the time to do a thorough assessment of the house. We hired them for one job and had them back a few months later for another. Both times they were on time, very nice and easy to work with, clean, respectful and did a great job. I hope to have them back for another job that we will need done eventually. They went way above and beyond helping me with an eversource rebate I needed to file as well, which helped us get a great rebate for some of the work. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Great crew.

I have contracted Nealon twice, both times Dave provided me with thorough information and alternatives with competitive price quotes. First project, completed a year ago, was for insulating a single room, for which Dave suggested an alternative to my initial request that cost much less. Chris and his crew completed the work from the interior of the house in a single day, and I was exceedingly pleased with the results. Chris was just as informative and helpful and courteous and friendly as was Dave. My second project, completed last week, was for insulating the entire house with blown-in cellulose from the exterior of the house. As the exterior sidings are aluminum rather than vinyl, this was more difficult and more time-consuming, as aluminum does not bend as easily. In fact, another company informed they do not work on houses with aluminum siding as the risk of damage is too great. But Bennett and his crew were such efficient and hard workers that they completed the job in two days with no damage to the siding. Same as for Dave and Chris, Bennett's information and advice were invaluable.

Nealon did an outstanding job in terms of courteous services, as their team members, as well as Chris who was responsible for directing the job, were most professional!!! They cleaned up nicely, and my goods remained intact. Also and happily stated, it’s been one week since they’ve installed insulation in our home, and we notice a huge difference in the amount of energy we are using for heating…which equates to $avings!!! In short, we’d use them again, and glad we chose them for this endeavor!!!

The project started with the outside walls. They were thorough and neat. There was a bit of a delay in getting the attic done,but Dave had told us it might take awhile for him to get to us. He was helpful and prompt with the paperwork for us to get our energy rebates
