In 1977, a young musician named Dave Buligini Sr. made a life-changing decision. When the insulation company where he worked packed up and moved out of state, Dave chose to stay. With little more than grit, a guitar, and the determination to provide for his family, he founded Nealon Insulation right here in Connecticut.
Dave Sr. quickly became known not just for his craftsmanship, but for the way he cared about people’s homes. Long before “energy efficiency” was a buzzword, he understood that insulation could make families more comfortable, healthier, and save them money. He passed that knowledge, and his values, to his son, Dave Jr., who carried the business forward for decades with the same quiet dedication
By 2024, Dave Jr. was ready to pass the torch. But Nealon Insulation wasn’t just a company, it was his family’s legacy. He knew it needed someone who shared not only the skills but the heart behind the work. That’s when he met Uri “Ori” Pearl.
Like Dave Sr. before him, Ori was a family man building a life in Connecticut. With an entrepreneurial spirit and deep respect for craftsmanship, Ori embraced the Nealon way. Together, he and Dave Jr. walked job sites, shared stories, and kept alive the tradition that has defined Nealon Insulation for nearly 50 years: honest work, fair prices, and homes made warmer for generations.
Today, Ori leads Nealon Insulation with the same values that started it all; a commitment to craft, a dedication to family, and a belief that every home deserves to feel like home.

Meet Uri “Ori” Pearl
Uri (“Ori”) Pearl is the owner of Nealon Insulation, where he leads with equal parts expertise and heart. A BPI-BSP energy professional, Ori’s mission is helping Connecticut homeowners make their spaces more comfortable, efficient, and sustainable.
What sets him apart isn’t just his technical knowledge, it’s his belief that every home has a story, and every family deserves one that’s warm in the winter, cool in the summer, and affordable to maintain. He’s just as comfortable explaining insulation R-values as he is climbing into an attic to make sure a job’s done right.
When he’s not improving homes, Ori’s focused on his favorite job, being a dad. The same patience, curiosity, and attention to detail he brings to work show up in his life at home, whether he’s fixing something with his kids or cheering them on from the sidelines.
