Nealon performed a full installation of blown in cellulose in my home this month. My house was built in 1880, has asbestos siding and horsehair plaster walls, needless to say this is an unbelievably technically difficult home to work in. To make things worse, I have two children under 3 years old and the attic is accessible through their bedrooms so I was extremely nervous of their professionalism, quality of work, and care for our home and the effects of insulation on children. Dave, our sales rep, assured us that for a small additional price, the team could access ALL of the framing from the siding, even though other contractors who quoted it refuses to, he assured me that his team would take the utmost care in preventing insulation debris, both new and old, from entering into my kids spaces, and he promised he would get the job done as quickly as he could. Dave is a man of his word, his team, led by Chris were the perfect example of how I wish all contractors were, professional, knowledgeable, clean, friendly. By doing the job from the outside, they saved me 80+ hours of sanding / painting / reapplying compound to fill in access panels and penetrations from each bay they needed to access, the team cleaned up and you could barely tell that a major job had just been completed. I have had the insulation for over a month and our third floor, which previously was literally hotter than the outside air, now retains its temperature for HOURS after we turn the AC on, even in this heat (98 today). Just want to sincerely thank the team for their phenomenal work and to encourage them to continue serving the customer with their hearts, it really is palpable in the teams respect and care for the home.
